Today, the Ministry of Public Education in cooperation with the experts of the international audit consulting company KPMG held a training seminar on the UNDP project "Fighting corruption in Uzbekistan through effective, accountable and transparent governance institutions."
The seminar covered all stages of the project to introduce an anti-corruption system.
In particular, the main goal of the project "Fighting corruption in Uzbekistan through effective, accountable and transparent governance institutions" is the establishment and implementation of anti-corruption compliance systems in leading government agencies in accordance with international standards.
They also commented on the main provisions of the departmental anti-corruption documents developed within the project. Experts discussed anti-corruption policies, ethics and conflict of interest rules.
During the seminar, participants were asked questions about the need for an anti-corruption system in the ministry, its elements, essence and powers, the Anti-Corruption Department, as well as anti-corruption procedures of the ministry, communication channels for complaints, all obligations. -answer was conducted.
At the end of the training seminar, KPMG experts gave their recommendations on combating corruption.
