As you know, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve the system of education for children with special educational needs" from the 2021-2022 academic year, inclusive education was organized in 31 secondary schools across the country. A total of 85 students with special needs are studying in these schools. Among them are children with hearing and vision impairments, potentially impaired intellectual development, mental retardation, autistic spectrum disorders, severe speech defects, musculoskeletal disorders, and other diagnoses.

In addition, primary correctional classes were organized in 4 secondary schools in Nukus, Andijan, Kagan and Urgench, which covered 35 children with the same diagnosis.

In the 2021-2022 academic year, 53 primary school teachers across the country worked in inclusive and primary basic correctional classes organized as an experiment.

Today, primary school teachers in Tashkent received letters of appreciation from the Minister of Public Education for their fruitful work, dedication and achievements in the development of inclusive education and the implementation of innovative technologies in the education of the younger generation.

It should be noted that in the first period of this test, teachers worked with parents to adapt children with special educational needs to the school environment. Each lesson was organized with practical, visual aids and game activities. Practical assistance was provided by a school psychologist to a student who showed signs of fatigue during the lesson. In order to create a friendly atmosphere among the students, a healthy student was sent to the toilet and kitchen together with a student with special needs. Each small result achieved was highly rated. As a result of regular contact with parents, the interests of students with special educational needs were identified.

It is worth noting that today parents are happy that their child is in school with healthy children. He wants to go to school today, he needs a separate education, he has established a friendly relationship with his peers.

In conclusion, it can be said that the inclusive and primary basic correctional classes organized as an experiment in the 2021-2022 academic year showed a positive result. For the 2022-2023 academic year, it is planned to open inclusive classes in one secondary school from all districts of the Republic.
