On September 25-30 this year, at the initiative of the Ministry of Public Education, for the first time, the republican final stage of the sports competition "Cheerful Starts" was held among secondary school teachers.

A total of 224 teachers from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Tashkent and regional departments took part in the competition.

In these interesting and uncompromising debates, the teams took the following places.

1st place team from Tashkent,

2nd place team from Navoi region,

The third place was taken by the teams of Namangan and Jizzakh regions.

The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded diplomas, medals, cups and valuable gifts by the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Council of the Society of Physical Culture and Sports "Yoshlik".

Also, on the occasion of "October 1 - Teachers 'and Coaches' Day", employees and teachers of physical culture working in the field of sports were awarded the badges "Excellence in Public Education."
