Prior to the opening ceremony, the school was symbolically planted by sponsor entrepreneur Gafur Rakhimov and Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov, who built and equipped the school.

It should be noted that in recent years, special attention has been paid to the transformation and modernization of schools. Over the past three years, 268 schools in Tashkent region have been renovated under investment and other programs at a cost of 380 billion soums. This year alone, about 500 schools (55%) have been renovated, including 40 schools under the Investment Program, 41 schools under the Rural Livelihoods Program, and 418 schools in preparation for the new school year.

Happily, generous entrepreneurs are also contributing to the transformation of schools in the region. Today, one of such entrepreneurs, Gafur Rakhimov, has built a modern educational institution on the site of the old building of School No. 45 at his own expense. The school has all the facilities for students to receive a modern education. The 600-seat school has 634 students and 43 teachers. The school is equipped with the latest equipment and the latest information technology. The STEM Basic School offers in-depth study of mathematics, foreign languages, information technology, and chemistry and biology.
