July 30 - International Friendship Day with the participation of the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda, the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Bolotbek Kupeshev. an online meeting was held.

During the visit of the Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov to Jizzakh region, the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of education were discussed. It was noted that it is important to establish cooperation with the above-mentioned countries and is interested in strengthening and developing mutual cooperation.

The parties discussed the importance of cultural exchange between countries through the exchange of views and discussion of issues, exchange of experience in improving the quality of education, education quality assessment system, participation in international programs to assess the quality of school education (PISA, PIRLS), the role of teachers in educating children. conducted.

At the same time, the Ministers of Education stressed the importance of establishing cooperation in creating a secure digital learning environment in schools.

Given that the meeting was held on "International Friendship Day", it was proposed to hold a joint competition aimed at bringing together students and teachers from the four countries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to hold regular meetings in the quadripartite format, as well as to hold special meetings of the Ministers of Education of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan.
