We reported that the Ministry of Public Education has established a partnership with the US company Oracle, and under the agreement, 30 schools in the country were initially connected to the Oracle Academy.
During October-November of this year, 60 computer science teachers were trained by foreign trainers in an online course on "Java programming language", and most of them received the relevant certificates authorizing them to work as trainers.
Yuri Rustamov, a computer science teacher at School No. 4 in Navoi, and other teachers, who have such a certificate, started teaching the basics of modern programming language to high school students in the third quarter of the 2020-2021 school year.
It is noteworthy that the course is conducted on the basis of approved curricula and materials that fully meet international requirements, and graduates who successfully complete them will be directed to IT professions in programming and will receive the first certificates of specialization. This allows students to learn the basics of simple professions at school.
In addition, teachers who have successfully completed the Java Programming Language course will be enrolled in the next SQL Database course at Oracle Academy and will be able to participate in self-improvement training in February.
