HELLO DEAR COMPATRIOTS!

It is known that since January 11, the 3rd quarter has started its work in all educational institutions. The heating system is one of the most pressing issues in schools in the winter season. During today's briefing, we would like to provide information about the measures taken with regard to the heating system of public education institutions.

First of all, we would like to note that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan personally identified the heads of local government bodies responsible for the stable operation of the heating system in secondary schools in the autumn-winter period, maintenance of engineering communications, construction and repair work carried out in this direction.

Today, there are 10,008 general education schools and specialized boarding schools in the republic. Heating of these secondary schools today is carried out using the following fuel sources:

3,310 natural gas;

23 liquid fuels;

6,671 coal (briquettes)

4 are heated by electric current.

The type of their heating is as follows:

1,036 schools through a centralized heating network,

8,810 - via the local heating network.

162 are heated by manual (bourgeois) furnaces.

It should be noted that there are 1,196 school branches in the republic as a whole. Of these, 118 are natural gas, 1 is liquid furnace fuel, 1,062 are coal (briquettes), 15 are electricity.

In this regard, it should be particularly noted that at present one of the main problems is heating 162 schools and 156 school branches with the help of manual (Bourgeois) furnaces. The reason is that they have a high probability that students will be poisoned by internal combustion gas. Because these homemade bourgeois stoves are built into the interior of classrooms so that they are closer to the students.

As a solution to this issue, local khokimiyats are required to establish daily control over the heating of these 162 schools and 156 branch schools, and from the relevant responsible organizations-to conduct explanations on the ground to prevent the use of IP gas.

State educational institutions are scheduled to accumulate 235.5 thousand tons of coal-briquette products for the autumn-winter period of this year, to date, 100% of all coal and briquette fuel products have been delivered to educational institutions in full.

In turn, the Ministry of Public Education has developed a bot @scholar_uzedubot to monitor the heating system in schools, where parents can provide information about the state of preparation for the autumn-winter season of the school where their child studies or works, without specifying his identity. With this bot, you can leave information not only about the heating system, but also about water supply, lighting and the condition of toilets in classrooms.

To date, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent have been given appropriate instructions for the stable operation of all school heating systems in winter, therefore, in case of problems on the ground, measures are promptly taken through territorial headquarters.

The Ministry of Public Education has published the phone numbers of headquarters in the regions in its official telegram channel @uzedu.

Dear compatriots!

If you have applied to the regional headquarters, but still have not found a solution to the problem with the heating system in your school, we would like to remind you that you can also contact the help center of the Ministry of Public Education by phone (71) 202 09 09.

Measures will be taken to promptly address these appeals together with the republican autumn-winter headquarters and territorial headquarters.

In this regard, we remind you once again that the heads of local government bodies have been identified as personally responsible for the stable operation of the heating system in secondary schools in the autumn-winter period, maintenance of engineering communications in them, carrying out construction and repair work in this direction.

Also, the Presidential Decree “On additional measures to improve the public education management system” established that the regional khokims, together with the heads of sectors for the integrated socio-economic development of districts (cities), are personally responsible for the implementation of measures for the timely and effective preparation of public education institutions for the academic year and the autumn-winter season.

This concludes our briefing today, thank you for your attention!
