Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan and the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language are creating an effective system of assessment and professional development of teachers of the Russian language.
A memorandum on this was signed at the second Russian-Uzbek educational forum in Moscow. Russian Language Institute specialists named after Pushkin will check the professional qualifications of teachers of the Russian language in Uzbekistan, he said.
The test is aimed at assessing the pedagogical skills of teachers in Uzbekistan. The test results allow us to collect detailed information about the competencies of teachers - how to plan and teach lessons, which methods to use to manage intra-group communications, linguistic and methodological foundations.
The test combines the principles of international test systems - truthfulness, reliability, as well as the basic foundations of the Russian methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language. In the future, testing will become one of the key elements of the formation of a unified educational standard, as well as the main tool of the system of professional development of teachers of the Russian language in Uzbekistan.
As a result of the cooperation, an effective system of professional development of the teaching staff will be developed. The new standards allow us to move to more effective methods of professional development of teachers.
Russian Language Institute named after Pushkin has been the main organization of the CIS countries for teaching the Russian language since 2013. Among Russian higher educational institutions, Russian also occupies a leading position as a foreign language.
