The meeting discussed the effectiveness of reforms in the field of public education in the first half of this year and by the end of the year.

First, detailed information was provided on the content of the National Program for the Development of Public Education for 2022-2026 and the Decree and Resolution on its implementation, signed by the President.

The tasks on improving the quality of education, improving the professional skills of teachers, teaching on the basis of new methods, creating a new generation of textbooks based on foreign experience, further strengthening the status of teachers in society, expanding the powers of school leaders, strengthening the material and technical base of educational institutions.

The personal responsibility of the heads of district and city departments of public education, the responsibility for ensuring the effectiveness of the reforms in schools.

The meeting critically discussed the implementation of regional programs aimed at solving problems in public education institutions. It was noted that district and city khokims, heads of sectors, regional Councils of People's Deputies should ensure the timely implementation of each of the tasks included in the regional program.

At the same time, it was explained that the responsibility of teachers in directing students to the profession, in educating school graduates as a spiritually mature generation, the future of the country is in the hands of teachers.

At the end of the meeting, the heads of district and city departments of public education were briefed on the tasks to be performed in 2022, as well as proposals for the development of the sector.
