The republican stage of the military-sports competition “Young Border Guard” organized by the Ministry of Public Education, the Border Troops of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan started on 19 May this year.
The main purpose of the competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle among schoolchildren, to strengthen the confidence of young people in their will, strength and abilities through sports competitions, to develop courage and patriotism, devotion to the motherland, as well as to select talented athletes.
A total of 13 teams from each region are competing in this competition. Participants demonstrate their abilities and talents in competitions.
