The Ministry of Public Education, in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has launched a pilot project in Fergana Province to improve financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills in secondary school students.
The project analyzes the process of teaching "Fundamentals of Economics" and "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship" in secondary schools, develops and implements new standards, curricula, manuals, provides students with knowledge and skills that will be the basis for future careers. work is planned to be carried out.
At the same time, the interests of students in grades 8-11 will be studied on a competitive basis, and on the basis of the analysis, future career guidance work will be carried out on their professional orientation.
These projects will lay the groundwork for the development of financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills among students and increase their interest in the profession from school age.
