Government Resolution "On approval of normative legal acts on education of children with special educational needs" (No. 638, 12.10.2021)

The resolution approved, in particular, the regulations on the organization of inclusive education in general secondary education.

According to the regulations, inclusive and primary basic correctional classes will be organized in schools with special conditions for students to move and study indoors.

In this case, students are admitted to the first grade in the year when they pay 7 years.

It is also allowed to admit children over two years of age above the school age limit.

Admission of students to these classes is carried out with the consent of parents or guardians, according to the conclusion of the Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Commission established under the Territorial Department of Public Education.

The total number of students in inclusive education classes should not exceed 30.

Only students with the same medical diagnosis will be admitted to inclusive and primary basic correction classes.

✅ According to the decision, the monthly bonus paid to teachers of inclusive education classes for special working conditions is as follows:

➖ for one child with special educational needs in the classroom - 10 percent of the salary;

➖ for 2 children - 20% of the salary;

➖ for 3 children - 30% of the salary;

➖ teachers and special educators who carry out educational work for 4 or more children in two or more inclusive education classes - in the amount of 30% of the salary.
