From July 20, 2021, the acceptance of applications from those wishing to participate in the competition began, and 24,670 teachers were registered by the deadline. The first stage of the competition was held on the basis of passing 20 test tasks at the district and city levels and a presentation on the topic “Methodology for effective teaching of the Uzbek language”. Of the teachers who participated in the first round of the competition, 293 were eligible to participate in the next round.

The second stage of the competition was held under two conditions, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent and regions. At this stage, the participants passed 20 test tasks and made a presentation on the topic “Methodology for effective teaching of the Uzbek language”. Of the teachers who participated in the second stage, 14 teachers in their native language and 13 students in the Uzbek language received a ticket to participate in the republican stage.

On October 11, 2021, the first part of the republican stage of the competition "The Best Uzbek Language Teacher of the Year" took place. At this stage, the participants voluntarily chose one of the literary and free topics prepared in envelopes on the topic “The image of a creative exemplary personality” and wrote an essay in 2 (academic) hours based on a 50-point criterion.

From October 12 to 13, participants will be required to complete a 45-minute session according to a set schedule. The course work of the participants is determined by the sequence of passage, the topics of the lessons and the number of parallel classes.
