The Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov visited the Surkhandarya region and got acquainted with the current situation in the general education schools of cities and regions.

In particular, on the first day of his working visit, he met with students of the 9th specialized boarding school, 3rd and 4th secondary schools in the city of Termez.

During the meeting, the minister told the students about the wide opportunities created today for young people in the field of education, and shared his knowledge and skills.

After that, he got acquainted with the conditions created in schools and gave instructions to specialists in this field. Sherzod Shermatov also donated a number of textbooks and art books to school libraries, as well as gifts to teachers who have made a significant contribution to the education of students.

During the two-day visit, the minister visited secondary schools No. 14, 15, 16 and 20 of Termez and took part in computer science classes. Students watched as they mastered the learning process and shared their knowledge and skills in the field of computers.

He also inspected the renovated premises of No. 20 High School and gave instructions to the officials on the renovation.
