Within the framework of the Economic Forum of Uzbekistan to be held in Tashkent on 29-30 September this year, the Ministry of Public Education reached mutual agreements on cooperation with the International Finance Corporation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

In particular, an agreement was reached with the International Finance Corporation to provide financial advice on the establishment of new public schools on the basis of public-private partnership.

Memorandums were signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the establishment of public-private partnerships to establish new public secondary schools and improve the infrastructure of existing secondary schools.

Within the framework of the cooperation, it is planned to gradually establish new public secondary schools in the regions of the country on the basis of public-private partnership, service and repair them by private partners, as well as reconstruct existing public secondary schools, build and repair additional buildings.
