Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov.
During the meeting, the sides praised the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education. In particular, the joint "Klass!" It was noted that the project is revising the methodology of teaching Russian, and that new textbooks and certification of Russian language teachers are yielding positive results. At the same time, in order to expand the opportunities for school graduates, the issue of increasing the number of quotas for education in Russian higher education institutions, as well as the allocation of special quotas for teachers, was discussed.
