Yesterday, officials from the Ministry of Public Education, together with the district governor and sector leaders, are studying the problems in schools in Tomdi district, about 300 km from the center of Navoi region.
In particular, together with the heads of sectors, tasks were identified to improve the conditions created for students in schools 1, 6, 12, the material and technical base and infrastructure of the school. In particular, by the end of the year it is planned to build a new building for school No. 1 on the basis of the program "Prosperous Village", and a new building for school No. 12 at the expense of the local budget.
In addition, in conversations with high school students and teachers in schools, students' knowledge in various subjects was questioned, and future professions chosen by graduates were studied. During the talks, the choice of promising professions (industry, manufacturing, services, construction and other sectors) to further improve the living standards of the population of Tomdi district was explained by simple examples.
It was stressed that they need to be able to apply the knowledge they learned in school, especially in chemistry, physics and mathematics.
It was noted that educators should first of all acquaint students with the importance of professions.
Today, more than 20 teachers from other regions are involved in order to provide Tomdi district schools with qualified teachers and improve the quality of education. One such teacher is Dilafroz Jumaeva from Bukhara region, who teaches chemistry.
Zarina Murodova, an English teacher at School No. 1 in the district, was also presented with a laptop for her contribution to further improving the quality of education at the school, as well as for her ability to train talented and excellent students.
