22 teachers of computer science from Navoi, who took part in the project "One million Uzbek programmers" and won the top 100 in the country, were awarded by the governor of Navoi region Kabul Tursunov.
Teachers gathered in the official reception hall of the khokimiyat were awarded letters of appreciation from the khokimiyat and 4,900,000 soums allocated by the Ministry of ICT.
As a result of the high level of organization of the quality and content of education in Navoi region, 359 secondary schools were provided with high-speed fiber-optic Internet and transferred to the definition of "education". An electronic diary "daily.com" was introduced in 232 secondary schools, and the paper diary was completely abandoned. Wi-Fi zones and local area networks have been set up in 164 schools.
School No. 8 in Navoi specializes in in-depth teaching of information technology and computer science. IT centers have started operating in 8 cities and districts. The system of automatic management of resources, power and means of the public education system "IRP" has been introduced in all secondary schools.
Currently, 53,517 students and teachers in the region have been trained as programmers under the "One Million Uzbek Programmers" project through the efforts of relevant teachers and officials in the public education system.
Navoi region has the highest rate among other regions of the country, the President's gift was a car "Spark" and a number of teachers were awarded the badge "Excellence in Public Education."
In addition, work has begun to attract students majoring in programming to freelance work, and more than 100 students will be able to earn money through freelance work.
