This year, 260 students from 65 countries are participating in the 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) organized by the Government of Japan.

The following students are defending the honor of the national team of Uzbekistan at the international tournament:

1. Firdavs Sobirov - a student of the 35th school of Bukhara;

2. Durdona Mukhtorkhujaeva - a student of the specialized boarding school named after Ibn Sino;

3. Ikromiddin Boymahammadov - student of the specialized boarding school named after Ibn Sino;
