As previously reported, the results of the competition for teachers of computer science in secondary schools under the project "One Million Uzbek Coders" were announced, and a list of TOP-100 teachers was formed.
In the Top-100 list, 22 teachers from Navoi region achieved high results and became the first in the country.
In terms of the number of teachers, the next place was taken by 16 teachers from Karakalpakstan. With 12 and 13 teachers, Namangan and Ferghana are in second place. Each teacher included in the TOP-100 will receive a cash prize of 4,900,000 soums.
It will be recalled that in April of this year, the director of the secondary school No. 2 in Karmana district of Navoi region received a "President's gift" - a car "Spark".
Currently, 284 thousand students in the country are studying modern programming, 133 thousand of them have received certificates in 4 areas under the project "One Million Programmers".
