In June-November of this year, the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan will hold competitions, festivals and sports competitions on 5 important initiatives.
These events are organized in order to implement 5 important initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on culture, arts, sports, information technology, interest in reading, involvement of students in socially active life in the effective organization of work with students.
The event is a logical continuation of the "5 Initiatives in Secondary Schools" festival, which took place in October-November 2019.
As part of these events, 14 competitions, festivals and sports competitions will be held. Including:
a) On the first initiative:
Creative Children Festival;
Festival-competition of choirs under the motto "5 initiatives - with art";
b) On the second initiative:
Basketball competition among secondary school students under the motto "5 initiatives - with sports";
Republican Chess Championship among students and teachers of secondary schools;
Republican championship among students of specialized boarding schools for children with disabilities;
Republican championship among secondary school students under the motto "The future of our football is in your hands";
“Cheerful Starts” sports competitions among students and teachers of secondary schools;
Republican championship "Children's sports teams" for primary school students and "Youth sports teams" for high school students;
Republican championship in wrestling among high school students under the motto "Kurash - our national pride";
c) On the third initiative:
Festival-competition "Children's technical creativity" under the motto "5 initiatives - with information technology";
g) On the fourth initiative:
Festival-competition under the motto "5 initiatives - with the book";
"Creativity, talent and skill - the first children's festival of friendship";
d) On the fifth initiative:
"Qizlarjon" under the motto "5 initiatives - five opportunities"
review competition.
A total of 3.5 mln. people
students and youth are planned to participate. The winners and prize-winners will be 443 secondary schools and 5,307 students and teachers.
The winning students, teachers and educational institutions will receive about 30 items of musical equipment, sports equipment, computers, media equipment, fiction and sewing machines.

The main purpose of these events is to create a healthy competitive environment among students, to bring them to new heights and to create conditions for free thinking.
