A special school named after Ahmad al-Fargani specializing in physics has been opened in Mirzaabad district.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov, Hokim of the region Gafurjon Mirzaev, heads of regional and district sectors, community activists and members of the general public.
Consisting of a four-storey educational building, the 330-seat school has 23 classrooms, 4 foreign languages, an ICT room, chemistry, biology, physics laboratory rooms, an outdoor sports field and a modern library.
It should be noted that to date, 15 schools and 2 school branches in Sardoba, Akaltin and Mirzaabad districts affected by the flood have been repaired and put into operation in accordance with modern requirements.
Newly built and perfectly renovated schools are equipped in accordance with modern requirements and equipped with teaching aids.
