ISSUES OF COOPERATION BETWEEN FRANCE AND THE EDUCATION SYSTEM DISCUSSED

On March 1, the Ministry of Public Education held a meeting with representatives of the French Embassy. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Public Education and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan Aurélie Bouchez.

At the beginning of the meeting, the sides congratulated each other on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and France. Then the issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of education were discussed.

In particular, it was noted that about 200,000 students in 704 schools of the country should learn French, develop their language skills, and pay more attention to improving the skills of teachers. During the meeting, it was proposed to study the experience of France in the development of inclusive education in Uzbekistan, teacher training.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to introduce world experience with the help of French teachers in order to improve the teaching of not only French, but also STEM subjects in secondary schools of our country.
