The district stage of the competition was launched by the Ministry of Public Education and the Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Languages on March 2 this year.
8065 schools have registered for the competition electronically.
In addition to the assessment of the main indicators of foreign language teaching in these schools, the knowledge of foreign students (English, German, French) of 5 students included in the national team will be assessed through tests.
The test items are designed for students in grades 7-9 in secondary schools and consist of 30 items prepared in accordance with International Education Standards (CEFR).
The test items consist of an assessment of grammar knowledge, an assessment of reading comprehension, and an assessment of lexical ability, each of which is given 10 test items.
Test assignments are developed by the Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Language Learning with the involvement of international experts.
The school team that wins 1st place in the district stage will qualify for the next regional stage of the competition.
Recall that the winners of the district (city) stage of the competition for the 1st place - 100 million soums, for the 2nd place - 75 million soums, for the 3rd place - 50 million soums. in the amount of UZS;
Winners of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city (regional) stage for the 1st place - 250 million soums, for the 2nd place - 200 million soums, for the 3rd place - 150 in the amount of one million soums;
The winners of the republican stage will be awarded 500 million soums for the 1st place, 400 million soums for the 2nd place and 300 million soums for the 3rd place.
