As part of the spiritual and educational events dedicated to the works of world literature, an art and literary event dedicated to the literary heritage of the famous representative of Central Asian literature Chingiz Aitmatov was held at school No. 33 in Parkent district, Tashkent region.

Deputy Advisor to the President Dilshod Kenjayev, First Deputy Minister of Public Education Usmon Sharifkhodjayev, People's Poet of Uzbekistan Mahmud Toyir, Head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Minhojiddin Khojimatov and literary scholar, Professor Kazakboy Yuldashev.

At the event, the sides exchanged views on the role of Chingiz Aitmatov's literary heritage in world literature. Pupils performed a play based on the multi-faceted work "Mother Earth". At the same time, excerpts from the epic Manas were recited. The students skillfully performed the Kyrgyz folk dance "Kyrgyzbiy".

As part of the event, the participants laid flowers at the bust of Chingiz Aitmatov.
