Today, there has been a misunderstanding of the teachers of physics in the places about the recognition of the relevant qualification categories that they possess, respectively, in the monthly salaries paid for the hours of teaching the subject "Astronomy".

In order to eliminate these misunderstandings, the Ministry of public education and the state administration for quality control of Education sent the following instruction to all territorial departments. 

According to the qualification requirements established in the current normative documents, the science of "Astronomy" in general education institutions is taught by science teachers with the specialty "physics", "physics and astronomy" and "methods of teaching physics and astronomy". 

Therefore, the relevant qualification category of teachers with the above-mentioned specialties teaching the science of "Astronomy" in general education institutions is also applied to the science of "Astronomy".
