Hello! There are only a few days left until the end of the 2020-2021 academic year. Today, many students and parents are wondering whether the final exams at school are canceled this year.

As you can see, the republican and international school Olympiads have not been canceled today either, and students take part in them, noting many successful results. In this regard, we would like to note that the exams serve to ensure that students work more on themselves, further strengthen and enhance the knowledge gained during the year.

Therefore, the answer to the question of whether final exams in schools are canceled this year, as well as last year, is No. We inform you that this year, phased control and final state exams will be held in all secondary schools.

The exams will be conducted in strict accordance with the rules of health protection and quarantine of students. In particular, disinfection work is carried out in educational institutions before the exams, students are allowed to take exams in protective equipment (medical mask) in compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules, before entering the room, the medical staff measures their body temperature and ensures compliance with the intermediate distance.

Exams are held after the beginning of the school year, that is, after May 25. In each school, at least 10 days before the start of the exams, the exam schedule is posted in a place visible to everyone.

The next question is: for which classes are exams held?

Answer: from May 26 to June 2, phased control exams are held for students of grades 5,6,7,8 and 10, from May 26 to June 15 - final state exams for graduates of grades 9 and 11 in the form of oral, written and test tests.

Question: where and how to get the questions to prepare for the final exams? Are they paid?

A: Exam questions and materials are absolutely free. Earlier, exam tickets and sample questions were posted on the official telegram channel of the Ministry of Public Education @uzedu. Even today, tickets for this channel will be reissued, and you can get them on this channel.

Question: In what cases can students be exempted from final exams?

Answer: in accordance with the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, students may be exempted from exams by the conclusion of the medical advisory commission and the decision of the pedagogical council of a general education institution.

The list of diseases that entitle students to exemption from transfer exams from class to class and final state certification is established by the Regulation approved by Order No. 56 of the Minister of Public Education of March 4, 2008.

They are also exempt from exams if their participation in international and national Olympiads, contests, competitions and other examinations coincides with the examination deadlines at school.

Question: Will students who receive an unsatisfactory grade on the exam or fail to pass it be excluded from the class?

Answer: according to the current regulations, graduates who have received unsatisfactory grades in the final certification in one or two subjects have the right to repeat the final certification two weeks after the last final certification.

According to the results of the annual assessment and final certification, graduates who have received an unsatisfactory grade and have not fulfilled the requirements of the state educational standards of general secondary education are left for retraining in the same class.

Question: Are students allowed to use aids during the exam?

Answer: in the process of conducting a step-by-step control exam, students are allowed to use means that contribute to the successful passing of the exam (map, globe, tables, drawings, dummy, herbarium, drugs, laboratory equipment, etc.).

Last question: Will exams be canceled if the school is quarantined?

Answer: No, it is not canceled. After the end of the quarantine period at the school, as noted above, exams are conducted in strict accordance with the quarantine rules.
