Dear methodologists in foreign languages of district (city), regional departments of Public education, teachers of foreign languages of the regional Institute of advanced training!
Today I want to talk to you about the fulfillment of the tasks defined by the decree of the President of our country "on measures to further improve the system of learning foreign languages" dated December 10, 2012.
In this resolution, as you know, the main goal is to improve the system of teaching foreign languages to the younger generation, training specialists who are fluent in these languages, creating opportunities for the large-scale use of the achievements of world civilization and information resources, the development of international cooperation and dialogue.
To this end, state standards on foreign languages for the system of continuing education were created and approved, and since the 2013-2014 academic year, foreign languages have been taught in schools since grade 1.
On the basis of this DTS and the curriculum, educational complexes for the 1st and 2nd grades (textbook, teacher's book, notebook and DVD) have been created and published.
Today, the complexes of textbooks on foreign languages created for 3rd grades are being tested. Existing textbooks for grades 5-9 have been revised and published on the basis of new state standards, and are also being delivered to vacant places.
17222 foreign language classrooms have been prepared for teaching foreign languages in primary schools, and all of them are equipped with DVD-tape recorders, educational and visual aids, dictionaries and literature. If last year laptops, projectors and other technical means and 1,500 pieces of equipment for grades 5-9 were delivered to 6,650 primary classes, then this year technical means and equipment will be delivered to 6,624 foreign language rooms.
Since March 1, 2015, in addition to the current system of advanced training, measures have been taken to organize weekly refresher courses in all districts, in the territories of teachers. These permanent courses cover 20 thousand teachers per year.
For the high-quality organization of these courses, 732 experienced teachers with the highest qualifications were selected from all districts, who from January 26 to February 6 of this year were trained as trainers on a 36-hour special course.
These trainers train English language teachers for 6 hours 1 day a week in 552 basic schools equipped with the most modern technical means. It focuses on the development of the teacher's oral speech skills and methods of working with young children, preparing them for tests in foreign languages prepared on the basis of the requirements of the international level e (Tibor.
Training programs, manuals and handouts for these advanced training courses are prepared by the innovation center at UzUMYA. This process is coordinated by regional institutes of advanced training of public education in the regions. Based on the results achieved, the curricula will be improved and, thus, the quality of foreign language teachers will be improved.
Another innovation is that each school and district has developed a Regulation on the organization and holding of the competition "The Best English Teacher of the Year" among English language teachers. In accordance with it, foreign language teachers will be financially and financially encouraged. The winners of the regional stage will be sent on business trips to exchange experiences in language learning centers throughout Europe.
The timely and high-quality organization of all this depends on all of us, especially on the methodologists in foreign languages of the region, the district who are sitting in this hall, and the teachers of the regional Institute of advanced training in foreign languages. In particular, admission and registration of students for courses is carried out by order of the rector of the relevant territorial institute on the basis of lists of district offices.
The quality control of classes is carried out by the territorial management bodies of ta (Lim) together with the relevant territorial institutes, and the district departments of ta (Lim) ensure weekly attendance by students of the courses. The attendance of classes and trainees is recorded by the trainers in documents (journals)Cat(iy) accounting, is controlled by district ta departments(lim) together with territorial institutes.
Similar tasks will be explained to you today. A lunch has been prepared, after which your knowledge of English and methodological skills will be tested, as well as those who consider themselves worthy of their profession will receive advanced training in the innovation center at UZGUM in the amount of 144 hours.
