On December 1, the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an "Open Day" in the framework of the Anti-Corruption Week dedicated to "December 9 - International Anti-Corruption Day". staff attended.

The event was organized to ensure the openness of the Ministry of Public Education to the public and citizens, as well as to answer questions from journalists, bloggers and citizens about the work being done to combat corruption.

It should be noted that the ministry is carrying out a number of organizational and practical measures to prevent and eliminate corruption in the public education system.

In particular, in accordance with a number of decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of the Control and Legal Service of the Ministry established a department for compliance control to combat corruption. , the formation of an intolerant attitude to corruption, the timely identification of corruption risks, the study of their causes and the development of proposals for their elimination.

The research is based on risk analysis, ie during remote monitoring, suspicious cases are first analyzed, and based on the results of the identified cases, experts are directed to the objects.

It was noted that the main focus of the ministry's activities is on preventive measures to prevent financial errors and shortcomings.

For 11 months of this year, a total of 368.6 billion. UZS financial errors and shortcomings were prevented and eliminated.

Nevertheless, as a result of control measures carried out by the ministry since the beginning of the year, a total of 88.0 bln. UZS, including 27.5 bln. soums of theft and deficit.

For example, in November of this year, the Accounts Chamber held a joint meeting in Andijan, Andijan region. soums, in Boyovut district of Syrdarya region - 11.0 bln. soums and 4.0 bln. soums in Gulistan. UZS budget funds were disbursed.

Over the past period, the ministry has protected the rights of 264,041 employees, restored the rights of 963, and in 188 cases prevented illegal interference and inspections in the activities of other government agencies.

He also briefed on the work carried out by the Ministry to ensure the transparency of the public education system.

As part of the "Open Day", media representatives received detailed answers to their questions from industry representatives.

The Ministry of Public Education will continue to work to ensure the effective use of funds allocated from the state budget, to identify, eliminate and prevent corruption risks, financial errors and shortcomings in the system.
