The Department of Spirituality and Development of the State Language of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Public Education and the Republican Education Center In order to expand the republic, a competition "The best teacher of the Uzbek language of the year" was held among teachers of "native language" and "Uzbek language" in secondary schools throughout the country.

In the selection process, which began on July 20, 24,670 teachers were registered.

According to the final results of the competition in the subject of mother tongue:

1st place - Husniddin Turgunbaev, teacher of mother tongue and literature, secondary school No 46, Jarqurghon district, Surkhandarya region;

2nd place - Nilufar Khakimova, teacher of mother tongue and literature, specialized state secondary school No 19, Almalyk, Tashkent region;

The 3rd place was taken by Komila Rajabova, a teacher of mother tongue and literature of the specialized school No. 11 in Navoi, Navoi region.

On the subject of Uzbek language:

1st place - Mehriyo Tuleshova, a teacher of the Uzbek language at the secondary school No 44 in Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan;

2nd place Sevara Abdullaeva, teacher of Uzbek language, secondary school No 39, Uchkurgan district, Namangan region;

The third place was taken by Oybek Boyatov, a teacher of the Uzbek language at the Specialized State Secondary School No. 91 in the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent.

At the republican stage of the competition, each of the winners in both disciplines was awarded the following cash prizes:

For the 1st place - 30 mln. from soums,

For the 2nd place - 20 mln. from soums,

For the 3rd place - 10 mln. He was awarded cash prizes and a badge "Excellence in Public Education".

Methodists of science, who provided methodological assistance to teachers, were also awarded the badge "Excellence in Public Education" and valuable gifts.
