During the study of schools in Navoi region, officials of the Ministry of Public Education visited the city of Zarafshan. Zarafshan is an industrial region with a significant place not only in Navoi region, but also in the economy of the republic. The educational institutions in the city have a unique potential, the intellectual intelligence of their students. However, despite the fact that there are large industrial enterprises in Zarafshan, there are very few graduates who choose the specialties (engineers, technologists, geologists, power engineers) needed in the future.
In an interview with high school students and teachers at school No. 12 in Zarafshan, Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov stressed the need to focus on this topic, ie the right choice of professions, based on the needs of the region. Students were explained why they need the knowledge they have acquired in life, not just to study in school, but to be able to apply this knowledge throughout their lives.
Three gifted students of the school were provided with laptops, televisions to more effectively organize the teaching process, as well as additional modern computer classrooms.
In order to create favorable conditions for students at the school, the material and technical base and infrastructure will be improved in the future with the inclusion in the Investment Program for 2023-2026.
