On August 9 this year in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs B. Chairman of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Children's Rights (Ombudsman) A. Abdullayev Yusupova and Deputy Minister of Public Education V.Rajapov organized a joint video conference on the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 3, 2021 No 490 "On measures to further improve the provision of social and legal assistance to minors."

The seminar was attended by heads of public education departments, heads of public security services of law enforcement agencies, heads of centers for social and legal assistance to minors, heads of regional departments of the Ministries of Neighborhood and Family Support, Health, Higher and Secondary Special Education, Employment and Labor Relations. and heads of specialized educational institutions identified in the resolution.

The speakers discussed the essence of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 490 "On measures to further improve the provision of social and legal assistance to minors" and the further improvement of the system of protection of children's rights, freedoms and legitimate interests. It was noted that significant progress has been made in creating an effective system for fulfilling international obligations in this area.

In particular, the Deputy Minister of Public Education V.Rajapov in his report explained to the officials the necessary recommendations and instructions to ensure the implementation of this decision of the Cabinet of Ministers in the public education system.
