In order to identify skilled, enterprising teachers of Uzbek language in secondary schools on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to support and encourage their ideas to improve the quality of education and expand the scope of practical developments to apply modern approaches to teaching Uzbek as a state language The Department of Spirituality and State Language Development of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republican Education Center announce the contest "The best teacher of the Uzbek language of the year."

The competition is held in three stages:

Phase 1: from September 13 to September 18 of the current year at the district (city) level;

Phase 2: from September 27 to September 30 of this year in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Tashkent and regions;

3rd Republican stage: will be held on October 18-20 this year in Tashkent.

The competition is divided into two areas: teachers of Uzbek-language educational institutions and teachers of Russian and sister-language educational institutions.
