Today, there are 8 schools for children with special educational needs in Namangan region. In addition to studying the activities of secondary schools in the region, officials of the Ministry of Public Education got acquainted with the conditions created for students in the boarding school for children with special educational needs No. 49 in New Namangan district.
The boarding school was established in 1978 and is designed for 200 children and currently has 251 students. It was noted that the boarding school should pay more attention to children with special needs than ever before, develop the educational process, improve the professional skills of teachers, improve special curricula and manuals for them.
In order to further improve the conditions for students at the boarding school, a proposal will be prepared in conjunction with the regional administration to add to the program of development of social and industrial infrastructure for the repair of the school building, kitchen and other ancillary rooms.
The pedagogical staff of the boarding school was given a TV set.
