On March 1, Minister of Public Education Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum.

It was noted at the meeting that the strategic partnership and mutual diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the United States serve to develop cooperation in the field of education, and the current issues of cooperation in this area are yielding positive results.

They noted the importance of bilateral cooperation with the United States in the implementation of international best practices in education in Uzbekistan, in particular, the work with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and expressed hope for a new level of cooperation.

The ambassador noted that his main goal when entering his mission in Uzbekistan was to become an education ambassador to the pages of cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Minister and the Ambassador discussed issues of teacher training, improving the quality of education in schools, the development of exchange programs, projects on inclusive education.
