A MODERN SCHOOL BUILT BY UZBEKISTAN HAS BEEN OPENED IN BATKEN REGION OF KYRGYZSTAN

At the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, the construction of a 330-seat secondary school in the village of Margun, Batken region of neighboring Kyrgyzstan began in July last year.

Uzbek handicraftsmen built and equipped the most modern school in a short time. All classrooms in the educational institution are equipped with comfortable and bright, comfortable modern desks, state-of-the-art computer rooms. The school's kitchen, sports and activists' halls have also been equipped in accordance with modern requirements.

The opening ceremony of the school was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov via online video conference.

It was noted that such joint events will further strengthen the friendship between the two fraternal peoples, emphasizing the expanding cooperation.

The opening ceremony of the new modern school was also attended by the Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Beishenaliev.

At the end of the event, the students entertained the guests with a concert program prepared by them.
